How Long Does an ACFT Take?
An ACFT typically takes between 60 to 90 minutes to complete, depending on the number of soldiers being tested, the availability of equipment, and how smoothly the event transitions are managed. Each of the six events deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank (or leg tuck), and 2-mile run is conducted in a specific sequence with rest periods of up to 5 minutes between events. For small groups, the test may be completed more quickly, while larger units may require additional time. Knowing how long does an ACFT take is important for effective planning and training. To optimize performance and simulate real test conditions, train with proper timing and track your results using a reliable ACFT calculator.
