How Long Is the ACFT?
The ACFT (Army Combat Fitness Test) typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the number of soldiers being tested, the efficiency of event transitions, and the availability of equipment. The test includes six events 3-rep max deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank (or leg tuck), and a 2-mile run each performed in a set sequence. Soldiers are usually given up to 5 minutes of rest between each event, which contributes to the total test duration. Understanding how long is the ACFT is important for time management, physical pacing, and training simulations. Use an ACFT calculator to prepare effectively and monitor your performance over time.
