How to Pass ACFT
To pass the ACFT, soldiers must meet the minimum standard of 60 points in each of the six events, totaling at least 360 points. The events include the 3-rep max deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank (or leg tuck), and 2-mile run. Success requires a combination of strength, endurance, agility, and proper technique. Focus on event-specific training, such as practicing push-ups for upper body endurance, sprinting and agility drills for the sprint-drag-carry, and core exercises for the plank or leg tuck. Regular practice, proper form, and using an ACFT calculator to track scores will help identify weaknesses and improve overall performance. With consistent preparation, you can ensure you pass the ACFT and meet Army fitness standards.
