How to Pass the ACFT
To pass the ACFT, soldiers must achieve at least 60 points in each of the six events, totaling a minimum of 360 points. The six events include 3-rep max deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank (or leg tuck), and the 2-mile run. Passing requires a combination of strength, endurance, agility, and proper technique for each event. Focused event-specific training such as deadlift practice, medicine ball throws, push-up and core exercises, sprint drills, and running can help you meet the standards. Tracking progress with an ACFT calculator allows you to identify weaknesses and improve targeted areas. With consistent training and proper preparation, you can confidently pass the ACFT and maintain Army fitness compliance.
