What Are the ACFT Standards?
The ACFT standards define the minimum requirements soldiers must meet to pass the Army Combat Fitness Test. Each of the six events 3-rep max deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank (or leg tuck), and 2-mile run is scored up to 100 points, with a minimum total passing score of 360 points. Standards vary by age and gender, ensuring fairness while maintaining overall readiness. Soldiers must meet event-specific minimums as well; for example, completing a certain number of push-ups, running the 2-mile within a target time, or holding a plank for a required duration. Tracking your performance with an ACFT calculator helps identify weak areas and ensures you meet or exceed these ACFT standards, which are essential for promotions, assignments, and overall Army readiness.
