What Events Are in the ACFT?
The ACFT includes six key events that measure a soldier’s strength, endurance, power, agility, and core stability. These events are: 1) 3-rep max deadlift, 2) standing power throw, 3) hand-release push-ups, 4) sprint-drag-carry, 5) plank (or leg tuck), and 6) the 2-mile run. Each event is scored up to 100 points, with a minimum total passing score of 360 points. Understanding what events are in the ACFT helps soldiers focus their training on all areas of fitness and track performance using an ACFT calculator, ensuring readiness for test day and meeting Army fitness standards.
