What Is the ACFT Army?
The ACFT Army stands for the Army Combat Fitness Test, which is the official physical fitness test used to measure a soldier’s combat readiness. It consists of six events: 3-rep max deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, plank (or leg tuck), and the 2-mile run. Each event is scored up to 100 points, with a total maximum score of 600 points, and soldiers must meet minimum standards in each event to pass.
