How Many Graders for ACFT?
The ACFT requires a minimum of one certified grader per lane, with at least one NCO or officer serving as the test OIC/NCOIC to oversee the entire event. According to Army guidelines, each event lane should be staffed by a trained ACFT grader, meaning that for a typical setup with 4–6 lanes, you’ll need 4 to 6 graders, plus an overall supervisor. Each grader must be certified through the ACFT Grader Training Program and is responsible for ensuring correct form, scoring, and test integrity. Understanding how many graders for ACFT is essential for planning and conducting a valid test. Proper staffing ensures fairness, consistency, and safety during all six events.
